Other Simone Carvalli Stunning Lace Strapless Open Back Lace Midi Dress

I adore this dress! I danced all night in it and was so comfortable. The dress is all about the lace. I've never seen anything like it. I chose the "nude" underlay because it showed off the stunning lace (you can't see it at all from afar with ivory on ivory), but it is much lighter than "nude" and does NOT look like you are showing any skin (unlike the model photo). Still looks completely classy bridal. What I loved about the "nude" from Carvalli is, unlike "champagne" from most designers, this doesn't have the shine, which I think is too much--I wanted a matte palette. You could add a belt (I almost did but went with a giant necklace instead), or a caplet, veil, etc. to really change the look of this dress to more bohemian or more traditional, more formal or more vintage, even alter the skirt to make it even more mermaid--it's surprisingly flexible and doesn't box you into one style.
